Anyone know what the deal is with Honda of East Toledo ?
I’ve been ordering parts from them since 2009 & their OEM prices were always 15% cheaper than everywhere else .
I went to order my TTI arm bearings Friday & all their prices are now on par with all the other places . :th_smiliepullhair:

Hello,
I decided to join this forum now that I have likely decided I’m going to go with Cam-Am for a new quad. I have been riding for nearly 30 years mostly on the street. Have owned a Raptor 660 and have a little Bayou 250 that I use around my 5 acres of dirt. I have that and my 2 street bikes up for sale and once they are sold Ill have room in the garage for a new Can-Am.
Been shopping and comparing on line and I’m about 90 percent sure I’m going to go with an Outlander 1000cc. I like the Max for the 2 up riding and the Limited looks to be a heck of a nice machine but at 15,349 it should be. I would think for that price it would come with heated grips.
I started looking at the XT and XT-P buy its next to impossible to get a clear understanding what one gets by jumping up or looses by dropping down a trim level. I’m kinda drawn towards the XM R as well. When I had my other bikes I was always drawn to and often getting stuck in the mud however I think I may have a hesitation on talking a 15K machine and almost submerging it in the mud. I don’t know, So I’m taking a couple few months to mull it over. Also, with the MX R, I would be looking out on having a back seat if I want to take a seat cover along.

Topped the overflow bottle off after last ride, machine hasn’t been started since.
Go to use it today the bottle is dry.
No sign of coolant anywhere under machine.
Water pump seal or head gasket would present themselves with either weep hole leak and / or coolant smell vapor from the exhaust ; no ? Neither is present.
I did change the reservoir bottle bottle a few months ago as the nipple on the bottom hose had been cracked and was leaking. Air still in system ?
Just doesn’t make sense to me how it loses coolant while sitting?
It set up for a little while I drained the gas put a new pump and filter changed the filter to a vertical style instead of a horizontal. Put everything back togetjer and it just spins won’t crank. Put a new plug and air filter in and still won’t start. The plug has a spark. And the pump is working. Anything else I need to check??

I have a 2007 420 Rancher ES that ran great, I rode it about a mile and shut it off. Now when I turn the key switch on, the lights on dash will come on but that is all!!! It will not shift, the engine will not turn over, NOTHING? It is still in gear because it will not shift and this one does not have the manual shift option? I have checked for a blown fuse, the battery is good I even tried another one to be sure. NOTHING! Any ideas or suggestions on what to try? I have worked on motorcycles, cars and boats all my life so I do know a little about mechanics in general. But this one has me stumped?
I have an 07 Big Bear 400 that is giving me problems. At first, I thought the problem was only that the carb would leak gasoline from the float bowl. So I took the carb off and cleaned it out real well, put it back on and it still leaks a bit.
Then I find gasoline in the engine crankcase, mixed with the oil. If that’s not bad enough, I look in my air cleaner box and it has nearly a half gallon of gasoline in it.
It’s a good thing I’m not a smoker, I was riding on a time bomb! :surprise:
Anyone ever have this issue? I’m about at my wit’s end. First off, can the problem be anything more than just a carb problem? The bike runs strong, burns no oil, and has given great service.
hello everyone it has been a very long time and a busy life but here I am with a new Honda and a new problem (to me) so we bought a 2001 450es and it was running rough with virtualy no high idle , so I cleaned the carb to no avail. then it decided to not start at all. so I disassembled the entire carb and installed a new rebuild kit from all balls. still no start. what it will do is spark and fire with backfire but ONLY while I am holding the starter button, it will run for 5 seconds then die after I release the starter button! all the grounds look ok and there are not burnt or broken wires anywhere , this is my daughters second Honda and we really want to get it running as good as I know it can before the riding season begins. btw my old 350 done gone and cracked a block so now it is waiting for a complete rebuild! I am almost at my wits end and ready to bite the bullet and take it to the shop!
