Manual / Foot or Auto/DCT

I don’t want the ES due to it tying up one hand…cant decide on foot or auto for a rubicon…I am set on getting power steering but am now down to just deciding on a transmission… I think I may enjoy the ability to control gears by my foot as opposed to trail riding in automatic and depending on the bike to shift…any thoughts? I am not using this for hauling / working but just for pleasure riding and hitting some roads / trails.

570 sway bar disconnect

Disconnecting the sway bar is by far the best mod you can do to improve ride and performance. The 570 is the easiest to disconnect, by just pulling the bolt from the top of the two upright struts, and rotating the sway bar up and out of the way. Makes it about a two minute job to disconnect or re-connect if you need to.
However, it turns out that there could potentially be an issue by using this method. bi66badjohn sent me a couple of pictures of his 570. I went out and looked at mine, and it was exactly the same. The strut on the right hand side will hit the muffler during extreme travel, and could poke a hole in it. Guess I will have to take a look and figure out a fix for this, without making it a PITA to disconnect/re-connect.

2006 Kodiak 2″+ lifts

I’m new to this forum and new to atvs … I was wondering if anybody has lifted their kodiak higher than 2" … I currently have a 2" highlighter kit, and was thinking about adding a coil spacer lift (possibly 2", for a total of 4") but my only concern is will I have any binding issues with the axles?

Wanted to introduce myself. My name is Thomas and I just purchased my first bikes since 2006 last Saturday. I found a brand new 2015 Black Pearl Sportsman 1000 XP and a 2016 Sportsman 570. Looking forward to learn from the site.
Well pics or it didn’t happen right…..

throttle not fully engaging

My scrambler 500 has had a problem with the throttle not fully engaging while going forward however it full engages while going in reverse. When going I’m in high gear (i only have high, neutral, and reverse) and i fully press down on the throttle i will move forward but with a slow movement and it sounds like its putt-putting. Could it be something with the carburetor? I just replaced the throttle cable because it did the same thing before.
