Hey all – been lurking here for awhile during the discovery/decision process. Ended up with a new Grizzly a week ago and hit some CO trails yesterday for the first time not in a Jeep. So I figured time to actually join and was pointed here to introduce myself. Looking forward to learning about and enjoying a new toy/tool I’ve been waiting to get for a long time.

The battery died. Replacing the battery. Attached the negative wire. When attaching the positive the starter engages. The key had been removed and the kill switch was in the off position.

Does anybody have any ideas as to why, and thoughts on how to resolve the issue.

Measured the distance between front and rear axles. My left side is a full inch closer together than the right side. Any ideas?

ok so I’m new here and by no means a atv mechanic, but I guess there is no time like the present, that being said iv worked on them before going to start with a big bore kit and possibly big red cams if I can locate some cheap, this being said I think I’m gunna go ahead and do the bottom end as well how over my head am I going to be here? Iv rebuilt Honda car motors before and tore my bayou but sold before I bought the new parts.

When sitting stationary on my quad (not moving) I can wiggle the handle bars back and forth a good half inch to an inch before the wheels will turn. They turn fine after that, nice and smooth but the wiggle is annoying. I will be the first to admit I know nothing about atvs and little about mechanics but I do change my car oil and I have changed things like my clutch basket and clutch on my crotch rocket so I am somewhat mechanically inclined. How can I go about fixing this. I assume there is some sort of bushing which is worn out or maybe a ball joint? Hopefully something I can fix myself. Thanks.
