Where to get a replacement CDI for a 1987 Yamaha 350 Big Bear Moto-4 4×4?

I am new to the forum and could really use some help. I got a good deal recently on a Big Bear with no spark. I have spent a lot of time diagnosing it and I believe I have traced the problem back to the CDI. Now my problem is that I am having a VERY hard time finding a CDI for this wheeler. The 1987 Big Bear has a different part numbers than the the newer years such as the 1990-1994 big bear. The 90-94 (OEM part #3HN-85540-10-00) is easy to find a replacement for, used or aftermarket. But for the 87 (OEM part #1YW-85540-20-00) I cannot seem to find either and aftermarket or a used cdi! So I have a couple questions. Does anyone know for sure if the 90-94 CDI would work on the 87? Does anyone know where to buy one for an 87? or have one of their own for sale? Any help would be appreciated!

Devil Anse system

Ok HM riders, Got a question. Is there actually a trailhead, with parking, for this connector. We have ridden it but came off the RH system and picked it up as we crossed Hwy 44 I guess. Went to BM and returned as we logged 100 miles doing that. Haven’t heard and don’t know. Does anybody else?

Drive shaft extension

Hey guys I have a mutant recon lol its a late 90s early 2000s recon 250 with trx250r body work lifted 6 inches. My wife jumped it a little coming out of a mud hole today and the drive shaft came disconnected in the rear of the tube. Can these drive shafts be extended by a 4×4 shop that makes drive shafts?

98 foreman 400 won’t start

I’ve got a friends 400 at my shop trying to get it running for him. It has been sitting for 2 years as he said it quit running. His son sank it at one point. He drained oil and replaced everything and rode it sense then. But at some point it quit running and has sat sense. Upon arrival the first thing I looked at was the battery area. I noticed mice got in there and chewed wires. I fixed the wires and everything is good back there. I took tank, and petcock off and cleaned both out very well. I’ve cleaned carberator twice now. THE THING WONT START!?!?! I have confirmed fuel is getting into the bowl by cracking open the drain tube. New plug and has great spark. Kill switch is working as I watched the spark plug quit firing.
Good filter and new battery. What am I missing? I have spark, air and fuel. ?? Thank you for letting me join the forum. Looks like a really helpful site.
