I had to jump start my 2010 800 outlander the other day and now DPS is out, check engine light is on and check DPS lit up.
This happened to me once before and the dealer reset it for free. Problem is my dealer takes weeks to get to stuff this time of year;
My question is: Is there anyway to reset this by myself???

I have a 2006 Phoenix 200 that we have owned forever. Last weekend, the kid got some pebbles stuck in the ignition after he flipped it and we couldn’t start it. In trying to get them out, I might have damaged the internals of the switch as the key wont turn now. I took the switch apart and tried the trick of using the inside spinner with the contacts but that doesn’t do anything.
I tried to use one of the cheap "universal" switches but the wire colors don’t match (of course). I would much rather not spend the $60+ for a Polaris ignition only to find out it’s not the switch but something else down the line. Does anyone know what the wire color code is as the connector (the 2 OEM connectors have different colored wires to boot). I bought a service manual for it but it’s useless for this. The universal has red, black, green and white/black. The OEM has red, black, green, brown. I tried matching colors with the white and brown together and I get nothing. The connector below the switch has black/blue, red, green and black. Do you guys think it’s something further down than the switch? No matter what combo I try the lights on the dash part don’t come on. The fuse at the battery was good and I even replaced it with the a new one. Any advice?
I know there are several suppliers which make a ring and pinion set for the rear diff. Does anyone make a new ring and pinion for the front? My pinion gear is striped, and the ring gear is missing a few teeth. Spiders and case are in great shape though.
Is there a track kit from Camso yet? All the dealers I have talked to in my area said they haven’t heard. My Polaris dealer tried selling me there kit but I told him they wont work with the arched a arms. He promised me that they did and what do you know I would need to buy the regular a arms for front and rear to make it work.
I need to replace the stock muffler on my 2005 Kodiak 450. Are there any cheap companies in the US that make replacement mufflers? Just need something cheap and most likely made in China. Otherwise are there any mobs in the states that sell decent 2nd hand ones? The freight costs to Down Under are usually stupid so need to find a cheap solution. Any ideas????
