I think that’s what I need. I want the winch to stop automatically when it gets to a certain point. I know its summer but I just thought about it so now is the time for research.
Is there a difference between the XDS motor and the standard mav motor? Piston part numbers are the same. heads I assume are the same. Did they just bolt a turbo up to it and call it the XDS?
I was headed home from a ride today and my check engine and power steering indicator lights came on and the power steering stopped working. The speedometer is not working and there are dashes on all fields of the instrument cluster. I made it home and everything seems to be doing fine except for the power steering. The odd thing is that when you first turn on the ignition the power steering works until the check engine light comes on. I did have it in some water, but I checked all of the connections. Any advice on what could be causing the issue?
I found some alloys I like for both of our machines a 15 & 16 570 Sportsman base. After doing all the research I could find, I wanted to check a few things just to make sure.
The Alloy wheels are 12 x 7 4.0 + 3.0
The tires are going to be the Kenda Bear claws HTR in 26 x 9-12 fronts & 26 x 11-12 rears. I believe the lug nuts should be the tapered 3/8 with 14 mm heads.
Is there anything else I would need to know with this set up(clearance,spacers,tie rod position, ect)

From what I have read, my new 2016 should have all fluids changed at 25hr and then at 50hr intervals moving forward.. The manual shows the maint reminder is set to 50hr from the factory.. yet I see mine was set to 15 hours.. I assume dealer did this.. just curious if I should wait until 25 or do it at 15? 🙂
I was in a local shop picking some oil up for the grizzly and asked the question "Is it ok to run fuel with ethanol in it in my grizzly?" The associate mentioned that if i run this "Ethanol Equalizer" in it i will not have any problems. Any thoughts or do any of you run this or some other additive to combat the effects of ethanol in gas?
Recently moved myself and my 2014 Sportsman 400 from Kansas to 9,000 feet in Colorado. She’s running pretty bad. I don’t mind some loss of power but I’m getting no response beyond about 50% throttle. I tried a few easy changes to no avail.
Called the local Polaris dealer and they said I need to install a new main jet and three new clutch weights. I plan on installing the $6 main jet but do I really need to install the clutch weights? I’ve seen others say it isn’t necessary but wanted to get your opinions. Thanks in advance.
