2015 Ren 1000xxc. Hi folks, it’s kinda frustrating when I’m trying to go slow and negotiate a knarly piece of ground, easing on the throttle, and suddenly the clutch grabs and I’m off 😯 Leads to some exciting times and the heart thumps a bit :twitch:
I’ve lubed the throttle cable, no change, so I’m picking it’s clutch related. Will changing something in there cure my problem ?

Iron Mountain Ride, also in our back yard in NE Washington. Had a great turn out, met new friends along the way. Broke both front axles finally, had Lock Diff on while trying to turn around and pull 2 stuck 4 wheelers out. Got one out and snapped the fronts on the second one. My buddies 850 popo with the same tires blew the pinion out of the front and ran out of fuel…. twice haha. All in all it was an awesome time. 3-4 SXS with tracks, 2 snowmobiles, and 5 4-wheelers and ran into some friends up top with snowbikes and snomobiles. Keep on Keepin on Friends!

I’m curious on this one…. my elevation is around 750-1000’……and I believe my jets a 120…. I’m running an fmf power core and an fmf powerbomb header wth k&n filter……. and suggestions??? Me header turns red and sometimes shuts off on me….. I think I need to run a better jet but im just making sure…. any helps appreciated

I had to remove the throttle shaft from the carburetor (Mikuni BST 40) on my 2003 Sportsman 500 HO. Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to how the seals were installed. Seems that I took pictures of everything, but that.
Can anyone tell me in which direction to install the new seals? I believe that the ‘hollow’ part of the seal faces out (relative to the carb body), but am not certain.
