Apex swap and cooling question ?!?!

I have a 2011 RZR4 with Apex swap and have noticed temperature differences from the temp sensor at the thermostat housing and the sensor I have at the radiator inlet. I have also noticed that people run the water lines from the thermostat housing to the engine and radiator in 2 different ways. I have attached pictures of both and would like to know if anyone can tell me which would be the best way to route the water lines for best cooling efficiency and water flow.
