anybody rebuild electric motors?

Came home to a shed full of electric stank and lingering smoke saturday, forgot to kill power to compressor…and as luck would have it the pressure safety switch failed and i assumed it ran most of the day before failure. So ordered a new motor and psi safety switch and got it back up and going. Planned to see if i could fix up original and box it up as a back up….but it looks like every part is destroyed/ate up/burnt up…but these arent my bread and butter so maybe it looks worse than it is…so wanting outside opinions.

Pulled capacitor covers off and found why oil was all over everything

Dont know if these part numbers mean anything for a replacement

Then got guts out and windings look destroyed as does commutator and anything inside

I think its trash ready since new motor was only $250 and looks like only thing salvageable is the case lol…but curious
