Dad bought a Tannewitz GH band saw last weekend. Apparently it was used in a box factory to cut cardboard, and when the company went under the guy we bought ths saw from got the GH and an old Speedaire compressor.
Dad gave me the compressor, and it’s an old Speedaire 3Z395C 20 gal with a 1.5HP motor.
Was wired up to 220 when I got it but I swapped on a 110 plug (20 amp) and and redid the motor connections to convert to 110.
Now I’ve got to get an outlet in the carport wired up to handle 20 amps.
The Tannewitz was set up for cardboard so has a HUGE table, and was in great shape. Was NOT fun to load and strap down though, and we got some funny looks driving down the highway with it.
It’s about 9 feet tall, and is parked in the shop still on the trailer at the moment.
