Another hot legs thread

I didn’t see any recent posts to revive, so I’m just making a new one.

I have a 2009 Outlander Max 800r LTD. Riding in 80 degree weather, the heat on the legs is unreal.

Most people say wrap the exhaust and such, I don’t think that’s my issue. When I’m not moving, the heat isn’t that bad. Going around a left hand turn, I feel all the heat go to my right leg, and a right turn puts it on my left leg, following the airflow.

I’m thinking I may be missing a piece of guarding or something, but I don’t see where anything could be. Any ideas on diverting airflow away from the footwells?

I thought about relocating the radiator up top, but that seems like it would cool the legs, but heat my chest.
