Another Bearclaw HTR review

Just mounted a set of 27s on an older set of ITP wheels. All the good reviews were right, this tire is outstanding. Rode 27 miles with mix of sand, rocks, dirt roads and a small amount of mud. The tires absorb a great deal of shock when running over rocks and stumps. They had 5psi and worked well with that pressure. Real good in the mild mud pits I found. On my 570 the 27s rubbed a little on the rear wheel well flares. I will trim them back with a dremel. Lost a little power but not too bad. Not so much from the weight but from the height reducing the gearing. Very easy steering. Can someone without power steering with these tires let us know if it reduced steering effort when switching to these tires. I so impressed I hope to get a set for my 2004 600. Also looking for an older set of ITP aluminum wheels for my 600. I like the additional width the 4/3 offset gives to the Sportsman. HTRs had great traction in all terrains and improved the ride greatly. If you are looking for tires, I highly recommend Bearclaw HTRs.
