Hello all
okay, on a CRF, the timing chain was rubbing on the aluminium. so I took the oil through, and pump off, and the piece that(I guess uses centrifugal force to separate junk out of the oil?) was filled with shavings, but it did not look like the pump had any in it that I could tell. there is some in the bottom of the crankcase and in the drain filter.
So my question is, should I just flush it out with some oil and MMO a couple times, and do y’all think that will clean it? I thought about maybe filling it with diesel and agitating it, then draining it.
what do y’all think?
