97 trx 300 fw swingarm bearing replacment

well after i discovered my rear swing arm was bent I decided to replace it and not try to fix it. $30 on ebay.

it is in the mail and will have it on friday. with that being said I also ordered a new set of swing arm bearings. Plan is to replace the bearings in the new swing arm for good measure.

I have the old swing arm and am tring to figure out how to get the old bearings out. I know i need to do it to the new arm so might as well try on the old arm first so if i screw it up it is not a big deal. I looked on youtube one guy welded the race and it "popped" out. not too sure of this method. I do have a wire welder if that is the only way. but there must be a better way of doing this? what tools do i need to to this job right? and what have you guys done to tackle this job.

thanks
