Got a 2014 850 XP HO EPS…
Ran it last summer at MI. dunes…hot day in sand. Engine temp light came on and atv went into limp mode. I immedately stopped and turned off motor. After5-10 min. started right up, ran fine. This happened 4 times. No boil over, coolant level good, fan coming on, no radiator obstructions.
Machine starts and runs great after warm up…no smoking or oil use, and no engine trouble code ever showed up….

The problem is at cold engine start up, it won’t start unless you give it some throttle, then starts but won’t idle without some throttle for first minute, then starts, runs strong, idles good…after it warms up for a couple of minutes.
New spark plugs and clean filter and fresh gas did not help…
Anyone throw me a bone!!!
