I have since changed the oil several times, because the issue keeps reoccuring. My plug fouls when it happens and I shut it off and drain the oil. I thought it was because my petcock was malfunctioning and allowing gas to flow into the carb, I short of replacing the petcock i installed an inline to ensure no fuel is flowing when it is shut off. I changed the oil and made sure every thing was good and lubricated before starting. She fired like a dream, and after allowing her to warm up, took her for a spin with out incident and rode for around an hour.
I parked it on a flat surface next to my house shut off the fuel immediately at both the petcock and inline and proceeded to my next project for the day. The next day I go to start her and the Kickstart is amazingly light and she refuses to start. I shut it off key and fuel. When I unscrew my dipstick, yet again, oil thinned by copious amounts of gas pours from it.
Sorry for the excessively long post, and I’m sure as a newbie I have forgotten to include some piece of pertinent information, so if any question is unaswered, please ask away. I would prefer this problem be solved before winter get here all the way as I plan to use it for farm work and hunting. Thanks I advance folks!
