570 rubber on swaybar links torn

Hey all, new to forum but lurked for awhile when shopping for an atv. Picked up a 2015 sportsman 570 indy red a few weeks ago. Still breaking it in fairly easy.

After a ride, cleanup and inspection today, I noticed that some rubber came off on the upper part of the rear swaybar links where it attached to the bar.

It does not appear to serve any purpose that I can tell except to hide some metal. What’s bizarre to me though, is how uniform it was left to right. Torn the exact same way on both sides.

Any thoughts on this? Is it protecting a seal inside there of some type? Dealer is a good 2 hour drive away, would hate to have to fork out $200 just to get it there and back if it’s nothing to worry about.

On a side-note. Anyone else find their machine has a noisy drive-train going over bumps on de-acceleration? Does that same engaging noise that you get when initially taking off.
