450er corrosion on impeller. Blows coolant out overflow??

I have an 06 450er that as soon as you start it, it blows coolant out the overflow tube below the waterpump. Some people said maybe it was a bad headgasket, but id think that would overpressurize the cooling jacket and force out the radiator cap? Plus I pulled the topend off and headgasket and base gasket appeared fine, i am going to replace them now though. What could be the problem? theres corrosion on the impeller as seen in the pic below. so would that mean its not working properly? When i put an impact on the center 10mm nut it spins the motor over so how could it not be working correctly? thanks!

Also, does anyone know if the stator looks corroded at the one point? of is it normally look like that? thanks
