350 fourtrax spark plug is dry (fuel issues)

Hi guys, I have an older 2005 Fourtrax 350.

Last year I had some issues with dripping/leaking fuel, so I had the carburetor cleaned with a new needle kit. Everything was fine last fall and last used in June (about about 7 weeks ago).

It has been stored in the garage for 7 weeks, and when I went to start it, I am having issues. It fires and immediately stops. Eventually just quit firing completely.

So I have been checking the following:

1)fuel. It is good fuel, and was stabilized when putting in 7 weeks ago. Have about 1/2 tank right now.

2)double checked the fuel shut-off switch for either ON or RESERVE.

3)Checked the spark plug. Dry as a bone. After direct injecting a shot of gas, fires up right away for a couple seconds then dies.

4)Tried manually injecting fuel using the "cold weather" plunger. There doesn’t seem to be any resistance. Almost like there is no fuel.

5)no signs of leaking fuel anywhere.

Any ideas what I could try or what the problem might be? I am not mechanically inclined, so if I can’t figure out it will have to go the shop again. 🙁

Thanks!
