2016 Rancher Smoking and loud noise, now overheating too

I’ve got a brand new 2016 trx420fm1 that I bought a year ago. I haven’t ridden it much(55 hrs worth) but I got deployed to Japan for 6 months and left it with a friend of mine who decided to take it riding. While he was out it started smoking and ticking real bad. The dealership told me they were gonna have to replace the crank and everything so naturally I said "screw you, I’m not paying for that."
Now, I’ve replaced the valves twice and it hasn’t even remotely fixed the smoking issue. I’ve read almost all the blogs about 4 wheelers smoking, and tried all the solutions, compression is 120psi and the piston look fine. Granted I’m not a pro but shouldn’t doing this 2 times be stopping something? I just put it back together from the 2nd valve job and now it’s overheating by the time I get to the end of my block test riding it.
There’s also a ton of oil in the muffler. If anyone else has any ideas that would solve a world or worry and confusion! Thanks in advance!
