I’ve heard the A-arms are identical between the XC and trail. In Pennsylvania most trails are restricted to 58" so I’m looking to get an extra 3" to take my XC from 55" to 58". I do not want to use wheel spacers to achieve the stance I’m after (too easy to just use 1.5"). I’d rather get the width as a benefit from some high clearance A-arms. I’m not looking to jack it up a ton, but a 2-3" lift in the process would be a nice touch.
The only problem is I’m not seeing enough info with most of these lift kits to know how much width will be gained. I’m sure there are tons of people on here that have already added a variety of these lift kits. What, if any, were the width gains after the install?
Thanks for any help you can give.
