2014 Outlaw 90 Trans / Clutch Issue – Help Please

In my intro thread I mentioned having an issue with my Outlaw 90 and I’m looking for some help. I’ve ordered the service manual from the local dealer but that will take 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to get here. My grand kids are coming to visit in 3 weeks and I would like to have this running when they get here. So here goes;

First a little background info; After limited use the first summer (maybe 20 hrs) the quad was stored over winter. When I went to get it out of storage I found there was water in the transmission and it was frozen. Moved it into the shop and warmed it up. Drained the fluids and replaced with new AGL. During the kids next visit last year water got into the trans again and it started making bad sounds. I drained it again and put new fluid in it for winter storage. This thing only has a total of around 30 hours on it.

I determined the noise was coming from the clutch side and pulled the cover. Found the whole clutch assembly would wiggle. So I pulled the clutch assembly and found the input / output shaft appears to be broken and / or there is a bad bearing behind a seal on the outside of the transmission housing. Here is a pic of the shaft. I have a short video of it too that I could post if someone lets me know how to. This shaft wiggle up and down and when turned it makes a grinding noise like a badly shot bearing.

Anyone know if this shaft comes out on the clutch side of the housing or do I need to pull it from the transmission side?
