Hi everyone got a question for you. I’ve been riding my new 2014 800 a bit more the last week now that the snow is more or less gone. Over the winter I noticed the quad wanted to pull to the right while driving it on the road. Thought maybe one tire was a bit low at the time and never really gave it much thought. Did some more checking the last couple days now though and it’s still pulling to the right.Tire pressures are all equal, there’s 121 miles on it now and everything is tight. Can’t feel any play on the pinch bolt in the steering column it’s never been hit or damaged so there should be no bent tie rods. Now the interesting part. I jacked up the front just to check things over a bit more. With the engine running the steering wants to pull back to the right when you steer to the left. Thinking this is not normal and the power steering needs to be recalibrated or possibly software updated although I haven’t found any definite updates listed for the 2014 yet.
Quads all stock yet although I plan on putting some maxxis zillas on it fairly soon. Saw one post where his dealer said it was due to uneven tire sizes but with the steering pulling back I’m thinking that’s not my problem. Just wanted to get others opinions on that before I start complaining to my dealer. Still 2 years warranty on it. I bought it used with 23 miles on it in Dec. Lady that had it bought it new in June of 15. Any bets if Can Am will waive the 50 dollar deductible with the low mileage?::sad: lol..
