I looked at a used 2012 rzr 570 today at a Honda dealer that was traded in on a new Honda 500 sxs. It had upgraded tires on stock wheels as it’s only upgrade. 187 hrs and 1300 miles. There was a lot of scratches and the bottom had gouges in the plastic skid plates. I opened the air box and found some hard dry dirt/dust in the bottom. The filter was pretty clean though not new. It ran ok and didn’t smoke. Had a good idle and steering was tight. They came down to $6400 out the door. Since I was out of state they would not collect sales tax, I would have to pay that in my state when I registered it later.
So the scratches were minor, but the dirt in the air box is scary. I did wipe my finger into the throttle body and it came out clean. There wasn’t much dirt in the box and what was there was hard. Like it had been wet and hardened.
I don’t know if I should walk away from this or not. What say you?
Thanks.
