Hello all and thanks in advance for your help. My rancher is giving me fits. When the issue first started my buttons would not shift the bike. So I took it home and pulled the shift motor off and discovered I had a broken spline on the gear reduction gear. I also noticed the factory grease was basically dust and there is no lubrication at all so I put everything back together with grease and I could shift with buttons. (After I got the new part). Now the buttons don’t work at all. Does the wire that hooks to the shift motor have anything to do with this? What is it called? Where does it go to? Thanks again.
