Was under my 420 tonight putting on the metal skids I bought for it a few month ago. Noticed that my rear output shaft seal is leaking. I won’t be using it much if any between now and hunting season, so until then I’ll be keeping an eye on oil level and waiting until the weather cools off a little to replace the seal. I already knew that I needed to take a look at the drum break, it’s either worn out, stuck, or improperly adjusted, so I’ll be tackling them at the same time. Anything else I should be inspecting and checking to fix while I have the rear end torn apart?
What happened to the service manual thread? I had the one for my ATV, but my computer got killed during a lightning storm two weeks ago and had to replace my hard drive. The one for dad’s atv is saved to his computer, I might have a copy for mine on there as well, but I doubt it and it’s about 30 miles away so I can’t go check.
