My 09 has about 500 miles on her, and while building my house it got left in a wicked rain storm for 3 days(due to no house). After this the the battery was dead, after charging the the battery we discovered the fan would not turn off, with the key on or off,(and it ran rough) so that’s what killed the battery. I switched around relays and that didn’t help. So I took it into the dealer for diagnoses and they told me it was just a relay, which I found strange since I switched it but when I picked it up sure enough the rough idle was gone and my fan was working. I told them to throw in a new battery since it was 5 years old already. Anyways, it seems to run fine but if left in the garage for a few weeks without running it won’t even attemp to start. I charged the battery and began to try and find a leakage.with the key off, When I remove the ground and touch the ground back to the battery there was a small arc which to me indicates a current draw. So I put my amp meter in line and I get a small draw but the it disappears within a second and everything seems fine. So I started pulling fuses and relays to see if I could eliminate this arc. Anyways so when I pulled the 10a unfused switch fuse the small arc disappeared. So now I’m lost where to go from here any ideas or diagrams anyone could share? Also any idea why I get a arc only when I first attach the ground but yet have to current reading? Thanks.
