2002 Sportsman 500 AWD not working

Hi,

I’m new to Polaris machines. I inherited a very worn out 500 sportsman that had a Hilliard clutch come apart in the lf hud busting it up. I replaced the Clutch and armature plate and put it all back together and the AWD worked. On the first test ride i noticed moisture in the speedo and shortly after that it started acting up. (Needle jumping all over the place and not indicating the correct speed) At this time the AWD quit working. The indicator light works. The brn/wht wires going to the coils have had an extra ground wire added and I have full battery voltage on the grey wire at the upper connection. I’m very frustrated and need help from you experienced guys that have had this battle. I would not like to spend 300+ dollars on a new speedo so if there is a way of bypassing it please help. My speedo has a 6 pin connector.

Thanbks, Glen
