2002 Rancher 350 4×4 manual shift

I am picking up a 2002 Rancher 350 4×4 manual shift from a close friend. He has had the bike since it was new and takes good care of his stuff so I know it is in good shape. We did add a Warn 2wd to 4wd selector years ago, but other than that it is unmolested. Everything works well now, but the shifter is fairly stiff to shift. It does shift though. I would like to do the following upgrades in the future. Please help me with the order as you see fit from your experiences with these bikes. This is my first Honda, but have 2 bayou 220s, a Bayou 300 and a Yamaha Beartracker 250. I will list them in the order I plan to use and why.

1) Install 12" wheels with 25" tires, because I already have them.
2) Install Warn front winch bumper and rear drop basket(and fabricate rear bumper for this), because I have them.
3) High Lifter springs on front and rear, too add carrying capacity.
4) High Lifter 2" lift kit, For clearance.
5) Snorkel,
6) Super ATV front disc brake conversion, because I believe in disc brakes.
7) Super ATV rear disc brake conversion, see above.

Anything else I should plan on? I will also add trail lights, skid plates, and a winch as funds allow. I plan to use the bike for trail riding, ATV camping, hunting, and occasional mudding. I would like to take the family to the Hatfield McCoy trails next year so I would like to retain reliability as much as possible.

Suggestions welcome from those more experienced than I.
