Hey all! I’m new to this site and I could really use your help!
I recently picked up a 2000 trx400ex as a project for my son. I was told that all it needed was a piston and head assembly. We got the bike completely torn down and beginning with the repairs. I was getting ready to put the new piston in but realized the the crank shaft will only rotate about 180 degrees. I thought it was the timing chain but with that out of the way, i still have problems. I’d rather not split the cases if I don’t have to. Any suggestion on what might be the problem?
