When driving slow (approx. 5-10 mph on a hard surface, like pavement), in Low Gear, 2WD, as I "tour" the neighborhood, there is a lurch or surge in the drive line. It feels like the lurch/surge felt on a snowmobile when the drive belt has been "hour glassed" or has a narrow spot due to a slipping clutch. OR perhaps a there is a "flat spot" on one of the tires. Drive faster or on dirt (at any speed), no apparent issue felt. Previous rides out included light duty plowing and low weight towing both in low gear.
Replaced the drive belt. No change.
Thinking more, seams to correlate to rotation of the tires. Verified 6 psi in all tires. Going to check the CV boots and tires for any damage (thinking damaged boot, water or snow inside, corroded/damaged joint) and try to confirm if directly correlated to wheel rotation (like every full turn of the tire gets a lurch).
Other ideas on where to look ? Thanks in advance !
