New to the forum and looking for a little advice. I recently purchased a 05 Rancher 350 with seized piston. I pulled the head and cylinder and head today to have bored and head reworked and found out that it was a little more than a seized piston. I found the skirt of the piston is completely broke off and the crown was cracked. I plan on splitting the case to clean it out and inspect for other damage. What are the chances the rod is bent? Should I just clean up everything and put it back together or New bearings and crank assembly and put back together?
