So I’ve recently started having problems with my 500 sportsman. It wants to grind while trying to shift into any gear, H-L-R. Once in gear it doesn’t disengage easily. Its easier to shut off the machine and shift into gear then restart. It also creeps when in gear at idle. No idle is not too high. No I don’t try to shift while moving, lol. I’ve read a couple thread where those have been the majority comments. I did read about a washer/spacer that wears out and needs to be replaced. Can someone direct me to this please. Also any other suggestions would be great. I so have a service manual so I have service parameters to refer to if need be. Thanks!
