I can’t verify this but heard from very reliable source

The new tranny will be a 5 speed with a dual clutch design

Best way I can describe it is if you are familiar with the Honda ATV manual foot control tranny, it is manual but no clutch, let off gas switch gears

No idea how they would shift it but electric shift and paddle shift would be a great idea.

The better news to me would be 112 hp would have much better chance to get to the ground than anything belt driven which we know loses.

Time will tell, as far as business is concerned I want it to have a belt and a flyweight style clutch.

Not sure how to eat off one of these new yamaha yet but have a deposit on one now.
