to buy or not to buy 5 year warranty does it work!!

Since I’ve had several issues with my new atv is it worth while buying the extended 5 year warranty. Warranty in the atv world has always been a bit of a scam.(my opinion)
Will replace this but not that the shop always seems to get there money out of you some how.
The question is the polaris extended warranty a scam or a saver?
