ok folks… this isnt on my grizzly, but its a general shock question, so hopefully someone can help me out.
i have a suzuki ltz400. an 03. found a set of newer piggyback shocks for it, with compression and rebound adjustments, for a very good price. well, i got them on yesterday… the issue i am having is, on rebound, there is a loud "clunk"… it doesnt seem to be at any given point in the travel… usually just halfway through the rebound, wherever it is. i can push the front bumper down 6" and yank it up 3" and it will clunk. i can push it down 3" and yank it up 3" and it will clunk..
it seems like it has 0 rebound valving, in that it rebounds without any resistance till the clunk, and then it slowly rebounds.
so… any idea what this is? sounds like my great deal wasnt too great.
