Steering alignment

A couple weeks ago my husband hit a rut pretty hard, and after that the power steering stopped working and the steering wheel light came on the instrument cluster. I took it to the shop, they said it was a sensor and fixed it under warranty. The receipt says they ‘inspected the steering and suspension’.
When I drive it down a straight road, the steering wheel it tipped off to one side, like a car that is out of alignment. I think it was always that way a little bit, but I don’t recall it being this much. It doesn’t seem to be affecting the steering, I’d like to know if this is something I should be concerned about. Like is it going to wear out the tires like it would on a car out of alignment?
I don’t relish the idea of having to take it back to the shop again, but if needed I will.
