Guys, I have a 2015 XP4, I just bought it about 4 weeks ago and went on our first ride over the weekend. I have noticed just from moving it around in the shop and a few times while on the trail that sometimes it will start up then die. After 1 or 2 times it will start and runs fine. There was one instance that it took a few cranks to get it to start. Sometimes done from a cold start and sometimes from a warm start.
A few notes though: There was not much gas in the tank when I brought it home from the dealer and I thought that was the problem with starting at first so I put more gas in it and didn’t have any issues for a little bit, but it happened again. I also put a gallon of 91 octane in it then put 93 octane on top of that. This is also not a consistent problem
With all of this being said, even after 20-30 miles, is it possible I may have pulled some air in the fuel system and it is causing problems, but may work itself out?
Is this just break in issues?
Or should I have the dealer check the fuel pressure?
