Secondary clutch spider insert broken, ideas?

I fried a belt on my ’14 XP1K, and while replacing it, decided to upgrade clutching performance with the Heelclicker kit. When I disassembled the secondary clutch in order to install the new Heelclicker spring, this is what I found. Any idea what may have caused it? Also, while i have it apart , are there any components here that can be upgraded with stronger parts? Thx!
