I got this tear in my seat after about 8 hours of riding. I guess my PRP harnesses might have caused it, although there is nothing on the passenger side.

It is now worse after the last trip (added another 4 hours or so to it), and the tear is making it’s way upward (about 3x as big).

So I called about warrantying it hoping I could just bring the seat in, and the dealership said they would need the entire vehicle to be dropped off while they take pictures and contact polaris. Huge inconvenience for me since they are about 40 miles from my house and I need to borrow a trailer, or load up and haul it down in the toyhauler. I’m thinking the cost of gas (driving there and back at least twice) might be pretty close to the cost of a new seat?

Now I have those inserts to cut into the seats that were like $75, and I’m waiting to install them until I figure out what to do with the seat. If I am going to warranty them, I had better wait to install the inserts…

Also if I am going to warranty it, should I put the stock seatbelts back in first?
