Rubicon Tire Conundrum

I’m new to the forum and was drawn here while researching tires. And the more I research, the more confused I get. I love my ’06 Rubicon and am needing to replace the original tires. I live in Utah and my riding consists of snow (plowing plus riding), rocks, and dirt. Many of the trails are smooth at first, then get nasty. I’m also not a super-aggressive rider–I ride pretty easy.

What’s important to me is traction, durability against punctures, longevity, and good control in a variety of conditions. All this in a single set of tires. A few questions from my research:

* Radials? Are they worth the extra weight/cost?
* Tread. I want a tread that won’t beat me up on the smooth stuff yet is aggressive enough to get me to the top.
* Mud. Just occasional muddy spots in the trail.
* Submarining through rivers. Uh, no.
* Size. Should I stick with the stock size of 25 x 8/10 x 12?
* Brands I’ve researched so far:
-* ITP Holeshot ATR
-* Kenda Bearclaw
-* ITP Mud Lite (which my local shop is pushing)
-* Maxxis Bighorn

I’m asking for direction because I don’t know which tires are best for my machine and me. I appreciate any help you can provide.

Gracias,
