Bought a farm in northern Wisconsin, long driveway, the Leyland 270 is overkill for small snow amounts so we went the ATV route.
Got a 2000 Xpedition 325 with a Polaris (manual lift) plow for just over $2K. Starts great cold, runs well. There is no hour/mile meter on this machine. Found five zerks on the front end. Any tips, tricks, look-out-for’s on this model Polaris?
It has the switch for all-wheel drive on demand, other than getting into some slop is there away to verify it’s functionality?
Primary purpose for this machine is snow removal in the winter and farm duties (hauling a small trailer and probably our 15 year old dog) in the warmer months.
Like a previous poster here I am new to the world of ATV’s, old enough to not go on the whoopdeedoo’s but found it is fun cruising around on our 33acres. My wife is hiding the key from me because she absolutely loves riding Polly (yep, she named it). With that in mind any pointers/ links to General ATV safe riding practices would be appreciated.
Thanks
