New guy with questions 2010 Trail Blazer

Hello all, new member here.

Great site.

I just picked up a very low mile 2010 330 Trail Blazer for my daughter to ride with me, I have a 2012 RZR 800.

The Trail Blazer is in excellent condition.

Got the Trail Blazer home last night and rode it around for a short while with no issues.

Today my daughter was testing it out in our wooded property, driving very slowly stopping often to remove low branches and fixing trails.
The ATV did a lot of idling.

We noticed the red oil temp light came on but I didn’t hear the fan running.

We turned the ATV off and let it cool down.
It seem to cool down quickly and when we restarted it the light was out but came back on after about 15 minutes of slow riding.

Again I didn’t hear the fan running unless it’s real quiet.

Is this normal?
Should the fan kick on with the light until it cools enough for the light to go out?

The oil level is full.

I found what looks to be the thermistor? in the front of the oil cooler, the wiring plug is connected, looks new and undamaged.
The plug looks to have 3 wires?
Is there a fuse for the fan?

Where should I begin or is this normal operating?

Thanks in advance for any info or advice.
