Need Help with Front Diff

I tore down my diff, replaced the broken plastic sprague with a billet Black Rhino, moved the pinion shim to the other side the bearing, installed a new pinion seal and pinion bearing (without plastic). BUT, now it seems that my front wheel drive is not engaging though I am not sure how to properly test it. I was spun the rear tires in low on the street and there was no sign of the fronts spinning. Jacked up the rear and got the car rolling down the driveway on the front wheels and the floor jack with the rear wheels spinning in gear, 4wd on but the front wheels did not engage.

I was carful when I re assembled the diff, the coil ohms out good and it is getting full voltage.

Is there a better way to test the FWD engagement?

Is there a way to bench test the diff?

Is there any other test, beside ohms, for the coil?

I really do not want to have to pull the diff and have to tare it down again but I think that is where I am headed. The problem is what do I do when I get it apart and find every thing looks good (which I expect because I was very careful when I assembled it)?
