Made my XP1K 60″ instead of 64″ for transport in a toy hauler…Need opinions

Im looking at purchasing a Winnebago Spyder 24′ toy hauler. The narrowest part of the inside of the trailer is 65". Prior to swapping my springs for the XP4 springs, my 1K had sagged to 66" but now sits at a proper 64". An inch of play though between the cabinets and my wheels doesnt sit too well with me though especially since it will sag over time again so I racked my brain on how to make my machine narrower. Then i had a thought…

I ran a ratchet strap between the lower a-arms and sucked it up tight effectively extending the front suspension almost to its limit and raising the front end. The RZR has ZERO up and down play in it now and it sits at 60" wide…more than enough room to run into the toy hauler. The height only changed marginally so i should have plenty of room still. The straps are wrapped around the base of the ball joint and end of the A-Arm and dont appear like they will be able to slip off at all. Provided I dont leave it strapped for days on end, I dont see any damage to my machine occurring.

Am i missing something? Opinions please…

I want this toy hauler as its the only one my wife and I agree on so no "get a different toy hauler" comments 🙂
