Hello From CO

Howdy all! Just brought home a 2016 900 EPS Trail. So far, the only "mod" is a Polaris roof.

Took it on its maiden voyage to the Divide OHV area west of Colorado Springs yesterday. I’ve ridden the area many times on my ATVs (which I just sold) so I was excited to see how the 50" RZR would handle 717 and some of the other aggressive narrow trails.

I’m extremely happy to report that the RZR was phenomenal! On one banked corner with a tree on both sides, I had to have my riding buddy help push on the roll cage since it was banked into the inside tree. Gunned it a bit and got around the corner. I now have my first "battle scars" so no more worries about keeping it pristine.

I was very happy with the stock ride. Much better than I expected and I’ll probably leave the suspension alone for the time being. I should also note that my stock rear tires measured just under 52" wide so I was concerned about getting through the gates for the 50" trails. Fortunately, the narrowest gates I encountered were 53" so it was not a problem.

Back to lurk mode and accessory research for me…
