New member here. Haven’t yet pulled the trigger on a bike, but I have already learned a ton from all of you. This site is obviously a tremendous resource and has a truly excellent member base.
So quick question for the group: I’m already sold on the grizz, but looking to make the best purchase decision possible. The ’16’s are obviously cool, but my local dealer has a pair of new ’14’s at $7,300 each. They claim to have only assembeled them a couple weeks ago, but obviously no way to verify. At any rate, the bikes are clearly new. No fancy camo, which isn’t a big deal for me, but they don’t have EPS. I’m not sure if it’s a deal breaker or not for me, but I’m certainly not as into it as I would be if they had the EPS.
So, I guess my question is actually two. Is $7,300 a good price for a left over ’14 with no EPS? And, is EPS really that big a deal?
If I do go through with a purchase, I expect to keep the bike for a long time. My riding would vary b/w LA mud, CO trails, and everything in-between.
