Front Box Removal on-trail

My current, Kolpin 4 gal fuel tank mounted to front rack, then a soft bag strapped over the fuel tank, is not sufficient. The cheap soft bag is already wearing out from rubbing on the Kolpin mounts and is well, cheap. So, I’m looking to make a more permanent change by going with a smaller hard box mounted to the front rack and then the Kolpin fuel container mounts mounted to the top of the box. This should allow for easy access to both the box and fuel container.

I found a box I like, just haven’t purchased it yet. But, my question is really centered around ideas on how to mount the box for "easy" removal in the event I need to do some trail maintenance which requires access under the "hood"? I am considering finding some wing nuts that have nylon inside them (nylock style) but figure the wingnuts can potentially tear up items inside the box. Most of my heavy items go in the front area, i.e. the heavy recovery items. I do realize access under the front hood is probably not something that will happen often out on trail, but I have a fair amount of electrical accessories I’ve added and you just never know.

Anyone else with "quick" release front box mounting ideas? :getrdone:
