I am seriously concidering flat towing my 2 seat 1000 behind my motorhome. I just down sized from a large class A motorhome to a small diesel class B+/Class C Mercedes chassis. I am trying to minimize the weight. Looking at BFG Mud radial tires in place of my Big Horns or a towing only tire. I have seen it done. If fact I was passed on the interstate by a RZR in flat tow. It was an older 800. Would the drive shafts have to be disconnected? This would only be done for longer drives. Locally my RZR is street leagal and I ride to the trails. I really do not want to have to purchase an aluminum trailer. Just not ready for another expense right now. Thoughts anybody? Anyone doing this? Since it would be for longer distances I do not mind having to change tires or unbolt things. I would remove the tow bar and such before dune riding etc.
