Hey guys getting ready to load the rzr into the trailer and decided to take her for a rip around the block before loading and luckily I did. When I went to stop behind my trailer the car stalled like a manual clutch vehicle would if you did t pull the clutch in when coming to a stop. So I fired it back up and went to put it in reverse and it jumped and died again. So I knew something was wrong so I pulled the clutch cover and the primary was stuck closed so I start looking and one of the weight arms is jammed into the spider. So I start disassembling and find the problem. There is a roller in the spider that the weighted arm rubs on when the clutch engages and keeps the arm from extending to far(causing the arm to stick into the spider and damage it like mine did.) anyways my roller is flat spotted and let the arm go to far. You cannot buy the roller and the arm scared the inside of the spider. $600 for a new primary and the cost to overnight it since no one in my area has one. (By they way anyone have a coupon code for Rocky Mountain). Anyone have this problem? I mainly want to know what caused this so I can prevent it from happening again. It’s not cheap to let it happen more than once.
Destroyed primary what went wrong
